About Bodega Katz
Spencer Katz is a photographer from the Upper East Side of Manhattan. He specializes in film photography and is determined to capture NYC's rawest and most overlooked moments. In 2018 Spencer co-founded the art collective All Street NYC which has two gallery locations in Manhattan. Katz has experience photographing fashion brands, musicians, and events. In 2022 Spencer published his first book titled Coffee Table Book which features a collection of photographs of discarded Greek coffee cups around NYC. Spencer is also an educator and coaches youth basketball and baseball in his spare time.
In 2022 Spencer published his first book titled Coffee Table Book which features a collection of photographs of discarded Greek coffee cups around NYC. He has continued this project by making more books, collages, and other art involving Greek coffee cups.
Spencer has had two solo exhibitions at both All Street locations. In 2024, Katz curated and displayed work in the exhibit titled “Katz’s Bodega” which has become a yearly summer tradition at All Street’s 119 Hester St location. You can view his previous exhibitions here.
